When I first read that Josh Smith is "happy" with Danny
Ferry's off season moves, I swear I was going to faint. If you are a big Hawks
fan such as myself, you know J-Smove wants to be on the fastest train out of
Atlanta.
Hawks fans have known for a while that
either Joe Johnson or Josh Smith was going to be traded. J-Smove wanted out,
Atlanta wanted Joe out. Now that the hawks gave the nets their worst contract
in the team's history, people have started to take Danny Ferry seriously.

His plan for the Hawks is to get them their first ring since 1958
as the St. Louis Hawks. Even after getting rid of
Joe's ridiculous contract Ferry continued he hero status by dumping
the terrible draft pick of Marvin Williams for Devin Harris. Signing Lou
Williams was the icing on the cake.
The future is
where the Hawks are aiming for. Next off season they will have 70
million dollars of cap space to go for big free agent targets such as Dwight
Howard, or Chris Paul. Chris Paul would make a
great mentor for Jeff Teague while adding star power outside
the paint. CP3 would replace Johnson and then some. Can the hawks get it done?
Only time will tell.
