When I heard that Penn State only had a 60 million dollar fine and
4 year bowl ban, I was pissed. These guys were covering up a child sex scandal,
and only got 4 yr. bowl ban. Then I heard that any player can transfer and be immediately
illegible.
That is HUGE. It
is like SMU, but torture to Penn State. For example, Rob Bolden, the decent
backup QB of Penn State, can see he won't win the QB battle and transfer to
say, Boise State and start this season.

That could be devastating to Penn State because none of the
players on the current team will play in a bowl game for the rest of their
career unless they transfer. That means the stud wide receiver can transfer to Arkansas
and start.
The ball has been dropped,
but the damage is yet to be done.
